Hi all,

The mountain brown interior is pretty rare relative to gray and black. For those who have it, how hard is it to keep clean? I’ll be taking it skiing, hiking, mountain biking, etc, so I expect interior to see quite a bit of dirt, sand, sunscreen, and damp clothing.

Do you wish you had gotten a darker colored interior?

Thanks!

I don't have this interior but I've had other vehicles with lighter colored cloth seats. They will definitely be harder to keep clean, but it really depends on how much of that is on your clothes when you get in. In my opinion, light colored seat belts are harder to keep clean than the seats. You can always add seat covers but I haven't seen anything effective at protecting the seat belts. The first time you get in with dirty/greasy hands you'll mess them up LOL. I always opt for dark interiors if I have a choice.

Gotta be easier then the Indigo Frost. :)

I'd recommend adding CarPro Leather ceramic coating as I did.

For mechanical concerns, you would need to add seat cover protection of some kind.

I don't believe it's exactly the same interior on a Big Horn, but my Laramie in Mountain Brown/Light Frost has only had one cleaning issue. The leather on the left side of the drivers seat turns blue from my jeans. This may actually be the result of the dye product used on my cheap jeans. However, I do have to clean it occasionally. None of my other clothes cause dye transfer and the leather looks new elsewhere in the interior.

The lighter portions of the interior have not been a problem to clean at all, including greasy finger prints, mud, etc.

Best regards,
Dusty

All the stuff is made of the drug rug and it was not too hard to clean that. The leather on the left side of the drivers seat turns blue from my jeans. This may actually be the result of the dye product used on my cheap jeans. However, I do have to clean it occasionally. None of my other clothes cause dye transfer and the leather looks new elsewhere in the interior.

I have been also buy some of the clothes for my trip when I was going to the trip and i use or wear the comfortable xxxtentacion hoodies and after the hiking all my clothes are dirty and I find really problem to wash these.

I have it in my 2020 Ram 1500 Lone Star and love it. We've had zero issues keeping it clean and even cleaning off an occasional Dairy Queen drop of ice cream, hot fudge or even dog slobber from our big brown mutt. Love these seats. Have owned the Indigo Frost in leather and they were a PITA to keep clean...blue jeans transferred blue to the leather, leather looked like a crinkled elephants ear after several months of use, and stains were difficult to get out of the leather for some reason. I know guys who have it and love the IF leather...for us, the cloth brown interior has performed well for us thus far.
