Has anyone successfully installed the new Morimoto XB LED Headlights into a factory Halogen truck? I just installed mine and everything works great for the first 30 minutes running then the turn signals go solid and stay on even with no blinker or hazards on. If the truck is shut off they go right back to blinking. The rest of the truck (side mirrors and tailights) flash normally the entire time. Has anyone experianced this issue before or have any ideas to try? Thanks in advance.

I would throw the halogens back in and see if the problem still exists or not...if it is...it's the truck's wiring messed up somehow, it it's not...it's the Morimoto.... get a new bulb... I use the NINEO H11 and love it.

I talked to morimoto yesterday and they have an engineer working on a solution, they gave me something to try and told me it should fix it but it did not. waiting on a response from them.

Any luck with this?
I ended up returning the lights as they told me it was going to be 2 months before they had a solution for it. Haven't installed anything yet for headlights, probably going to go OEM route.

I have Morimoto XB fog light complete housings and they have flickered since day one. I contacted them for support and they were very responsive... at first.. as soon as it became obvious that there was no easy solution they ghosted me. Morimoto sucks!!!!!!

Seems like there isn’t any good solution for aftermarket headlights for our trucks. Morimoto has issues, alpharex has issues. I may end up just going to OEM led route as my halogen light already has condensation in it at 6,000 miles.

Bummer, had my eye on these. Guess it's OEM or wait for the aftermarket to catch up

I had bad luck with multiple Morimoto HID kits in my old 15 Tundra. They just don't hold up. Switched to JDMASTAR (from Amazon) led bulbs and had no issues. Now my GF and my daughter have them in their cars and they love them.

I decided to take the plunge on these... took advantage of the 20% off Black Friday deal, ordered them from Jeremy at Retroshop and he shipped them same day. They arrived Friday and I got them installed yesterday. Pretty straight forward install. My truck came with LED headlights so there were no additional adapters needed or fuses to tap for the DRL's. I drove around with them for a bit yesterday afternoon and didn't have any issues. Have a longer trip to make later this week and hoping for no errors or issues.

Please keep us informed after your longer trip with them. :)

Been driving around all week and no issues... they were straight plug and play for my truck since it came with LED's stock - I didn't have to use any of the extra harnesses that came with the XB's.

One thing I did have to do though is fiddle with the wiring for the turn signal for the driver's side light right out of the box - it wasn't working at all when I tested them before actually installing on the truck. Discovered that one of the wires that went into one of the connectors wasn't stripped properly - so stripped it and reinserted into the connector and it worked.

Super happy with them so far!

Well that’s great news as I drive to North Carolina and back to New Jersey at least twice a month. I usually either use our Outback or our Accord since there isn’t more then (2) folks in the vehicle. Just want to ensure if I do the light swap I’m not stranded out there at night with no lighting.

Do you have OEM halogen or LED headlights, it makes a difference when i spoke to the retrofit source (seller for morrimoto) they said anyone with halogen experienced the turn signal issue (the reason i sent mine back), those with LED were fine. I just ordered recon LED and they show up tomorrow I’ll let you know how they work

I have oem led so I should be just fine, looking forward to your thoughts of the Recon..

If you have reflector housing...check Auxito H11 or Beamtech H11 on Amazon. $36 for a pair of bulbs. They are great, and run with no issues. I have the Auxito ones in my Ram now. My last Beamtechs ran in my Ford for 2 years up to the point when I traded it in...
