Mopar ram air intake filter

Hey so quick question. Can't seem to get a straight answer. I have a GT with the ram air intake. A new air filter is 300$ Canadian.
Grabbed a K&N cleaning kit.
Question is, do I oil or not?
Cleaned it, and it Worked fairly well with the spray and light hose rinse.
Currently letting it dry and wondering if it's supposed to be oiled. 1 dealer recommended the kit. Another said no oil necessary.

No oil needed. Clean and let dry. Done.

Thank you. It dried over night. Didn't oil it.
It got clean but not clean clean like the inside.
