Hello everyone!
A little backstory. I've always been a MOPAR man. I guess my dad got me hooked since he was a mechanic for CDJP. He was the Viper tech, trans guy and look what I found to PDI guy. I started with a '94 Dakota sport, V6, 5 speed and that truck was fun. Out of high school I bought a '00 Patriot blue metallic Ram 1500 360 and then a '01 in the same color but 318. '05 came around and I needed a HEMI in a bad way.
'07 became my downward decent though. I woke up and decided that I wanted a 4x4 and turned to the Ram. However they didn't offer black cloth interior in the '07 like my '05 had. I found a Ford FX4 black on black and decided to buy it instead. Transmission failed at 26k miles and it was gutless compared to the HEMI.
I had every intention of trading it in for the past 7 years but life happens and money was needed elsewhere and a new truck wasn't in the cards for me.
Thankfully I am now in a better position and I have started looking for a new truck. Tuesday was the first time I got to sit in a new Laramie and I loved it. I've been back and forth with dealer's all week but I haven't settled on an exact truck yet. I may have to order one since I have yet to find a truck that meets all of my requirements.
I've driven a Ford for the last 12 years and I will drive a new Ram with everything for the next 12.
