Not sure about the Mopar ones but I installed the Red Hound ones which are like rubberized grip tape and they do the job and look great

Ill take some when my truck gets back, currently at the dealership getting springs replaced and tires. If you check amazon some have posted pictures of their results. They do a good job of preventing scratches and also provide a bit extra grip

I put something similar on the wife’s Dodge Dart and like it... just haven’t found one for the truck
