Depends on what you want out of the mods. A good quality throttle controller like the JMS pedalmax is a good add-on. How about window rain guards or tires? Bed cover..?

Providing details of your truck would be good when you're asking a question like this. For instance, if your truck has the Hemi V8 engine we might suggest an exhaust upgrade. Or if you have air suspension we might suggest suspension links if you want to level it. But most important, like @Ramintime mentioned above, it really depends on what you're wanting from mods.
 
These are the mods that made that 15k miles 50 days trip from SoCal to Alaska and Arctic Ocean possible. I've made some changes (changing parts to more expensive ones) since but too lazy to change the graphics.

When it comes to underside protection, no one that offers skid plates for Ram 1500 DT comes close to RCI.
RCI has been my go-to for skid plates for every build I have my hands on, whether it is for my own rigs or for customers' rigs.
White Knuckle sliders are also top tier, and no one that offers sliders for Ram 1500 DT comes close with proven performance records. All of the rigs that see offroad action and crawl in my group all have WK sliders, and we constantly bang and drag them hard on rocks.

When it comes to offroad lighting, no one comes close to Baja Designs. The fact that all of the trophy trucks are equipped with BD lighting should tell you something. Sure, some people swear by Diode Dynamics (not a fan of them after customer's DD harness burnt off), KC (classic name, nothing wrong with them but they're more suited for older rigs imo), and Rigid (they still around?! lol) but still, at the end of the day, BD is the only one that educates customers on which lights to put where, and give realistic impressions on what to expect.
Pricy, yes, but that's the cost of buying into top tier.

Fox and King (that blankets Carli and Thuren Kings) are two biggest names in truck suspension. Fox 2.5 DSC gives you option to fine tune your suspension on the go to better fit the ride you're looking for.
Some people say their RC rides great - to that, I can only say sure... for someone who has very limited seat time.
Some people say pucks and spacers work great - to that, I can only say those are absolute incorrect ways of doing things, and I feel bad for their trucks. I've covered why pucks and spares are not good ideas in one of my "Technical Tuesday" posts.
If Fox and King are too much for your budget, Bilstein 5100s will be the only "budget" option I recommend. Pair those Bilsteins with quality well-designed and tested UCAs from Carli or Thuren and you'll be good.
For ICON, sure they may be appealing, but I've seen too many prematurely leaked shocks from them. I even had a customer brought me a set to be installed and found them leaking everywhere when I opened the box of these brand new ICON shocks. Avoid them at all costs.
Also know that the following is good for when you have about 500lb in the bed.

Method and KMC are two major brands in the offroad/ truck wheel world. Again, you'll find wheels from these companies on trophy trucks that win races.
I went with Method because I had better pricing, and the bronze color matched the color of the truck. KMC, per my experience handling them, runs heavier than Methods. Could be placebo effect though, since I never measured them.
Falken Wildpeak are also popular tire choices. They've since moved from AT3W to AT4W. Currently my AT3W F rated tires have about 54k miles on them and still have over 70% tread left, and if you look at my posts you'll see I don't exactly "baby" my tires. Having said that, my next set, whenever that is, will be Toyos because I get better pricing on them.

Here are some additional things that I've installed to enhance my driving and camping experience. The 67Design mounts and ICS fabrication mounts are both made in USA and of great quality, unlike another popular brand that features an American flag as part of its logo but not really made in US - and copied their products and designs off 67Design. 67Design have since moved to B2B and consultation, but if you go on their site to find the product you want and email them, they'll still sell it to you.
You will see that in the Equipment department, majority (if not all) of the items are Made in US.
Support American manufacturing, buy Made in USA.

This department is a bit of mix between Chinese manufacturing and American manufacturing, and that is because sometimes there's no American manufactured products so Chinese made are used.
Pay special attention to Switch Pro 9100. It is also found on many race-winning trophy trucks, though some of them feature BD's sPod systems. Switch Pro 9100 is Made in USA with American specced materials, not some flimsy cheap materials found in inferior switch panels like chinese made auxbeam. Their wires are more solid and capable of handling the voltage and amperage that they are rated for compared to cheap chinese components. When running high demanding lights, you can direct wire the lights to Switch Pro, but relay harness are required when running to Auxbeams. I arrived at that conclusion after replacing countless Auxbeam panels for customers - run Auxbeam then you can only use them as on/off switch, and still have to run relay harness. Even then, that only delays the eventual panel failure and not avoid it.
My Switch Pro has been with me for almost 10 years, been through scorching desert, freezing Arctic, sticky and corrosive mud, and high vibration high speed runs and everything else, and still going strong. it is truly one of those "buy once, do it once, and forget about it" type of thing.

This is mostly the same suspension as before, but modified to handle the constant weight of 800lb in the bed.
This is also modified that I sacrificed some droop (down travel) for ride height, and resulting in some usable up travel before the tires rub my fender. The spring ratings and ride height are all calculated and modified to IMPROVE performance on account of constant weight.

Having said all that, you'll see that there are plenty to do and takes a lot of $$$ to do it right. But that's fine, do one thing at a time, save up, and do the next. You don't have to be like me to finish it all at once.
