Modify 20" Limited wheels?

Am I the only one who has wondered what is under the plastic chrome covers on the 20" Limited wheels? I've been wanting something darker, and it seems like if these could be removed they would expose a dark gray painted surface.







I suppose it's probably pretty ugly under there, as what would be the point of it looking nice if they covered it? But if not, it may be a way to dramatically alter the look of the stock Limited 20's.

Take a wheel off and see if there’s screws inside the spokes. If there removable that’s how there gonna come off
