Bought a 2022 rebel a few months ago.
Great truck, nice ride and much improved interior compared to my 2014 Eco I used on a trade.
All Around Great Truck.
But.
The Problem: It no way near the amount of power compared to my GDE tuned 2014.
I mean what else can you say, the 2014 Pulled right from idle, none of this 2or 3 gear downshift, with nothing left on the pedal to keep you pulling.
What a waste. of a turbo.
Another concern:
The downshifting when hitting a hill.
Way to much gear pulling and over revving.
My 2014 tuned truck never had to act like that.
It made the diesel work and it held the gears, and it pulled hard.
I will be talking to GDE in the coming months.
Because I live in Canada, I would like to see a tune reflecting that.
EGR has to go, just like my 2014 hopefully.
Would really like to see all that extra power on the 2022 used properly.
For those that haver had a GDE tuned eco already, you know what I mean.
Hoping GDE can help out us Canadians.
I know you would get a lot of business, if you could get rid of some of this crap that they have working on these diesels.
Ill let you guys no what they say.
Like I said :Fckijng Love the truck, but sure miss the power and refinements from my old GDE tuned eco.
Traded my 2014 in with 295,000 of GDE tuned kms. 6 or 7 years with GDE tune.
The motor was tight when I sold it, no burning oil, and it pulled just like day one GDE tune.
I will be forgoing my warranty, I want my truck to last at least as long as my 2014.
And the only way to do it, is to get things started right away.
Hope I can get something worked out with GDE.
Could do some Performance pages stuff, before and after.
Anyway, Ill let you guys know what they say.
Cheers.
