Ok, so I swapped out my tow mirrors for a set of Spec-D regular mirrors, and I'm much happier with these, as I now have a proper convex full mirror on the passenger side which makes seeing the blind spot much better.

However, these do not have the tilt-memory feature on them.

Does anyone know if it is just a question of adding some wiring to get that feature to work? It is not that big of a deal to me, but I thought I would ask just in case.

Thanks.

what's the quality like on the D spec mirrors? as good as OEM? I want to replace my tow mirrors but am always hesitant about eBay and I have amazon points I could use.

The passenger side one has been fine. The driver side one does buffet a bit in the wind at high speeds. I think it is that the hinge for the folding is not super tight. But they haven't been too bad.

I've figured out the trick to get the right replacement for your truck if you want to switch. Look up used 1500's in your model year, with near enough the same options you have on your truck. Note down the VIN of THAT truck and go to your local dealership parts counter, and you can order off of that VIN to get the right features to match your tow mirror truck.

I've decided to go power-folding/memory at some point, which will be easy to find through Mopar service using the above technique, or I might try the A-Premium brand.
