I have a 2020 1500 Big Horn. I was trying out the mirror dimming feature and can't figure out why sometimes it works and others it doesn't. I don't notice it in the rearview mirror since the rear window is already tinted and I have a cap on the truck. I do see it on the drivers side mirror. I noticed it was working yesterday at dusk, then for no reason it stopped. After it was dark it wasn't dimming. What activates it? I just started trying it out recently. I had it in a car I had a few years ago and it worked great, but not so much with this truck.

Car lights shinning in your rear view or side view mirrors. And it has to be dark outside.
