I wanted something that fit with the Blackout package the truck came with from the factory, so I custom ordered black on black "RAM" caliper covers w/out bolts.
I didn't want them to stand out and to not be noticed behind the wheel and do their job for a reduction in brake dust on my wheels. I think I accomplished what I was after. Used blue Loctite on the stainless hardware to alleviate rattle and also added a medium-strength wicking thread locker to the studs on the front covers and clips for the rear in order to retain integrity to the adhesion of the studs to the covers and clips at the time of removal for a pad change. They turned out exactly as I designed and I like the look. Also, I got a tire rotation in the process, so win/win. Before and after photos below.

Are those the factory rims, you would have thought that the blackout edition would have had all black rims. Just like you get chrome nuts and not black ones.

They are the factory wheels and aren't even black, more of a charcoal dark gray with ram head chrome center and chrome lugs. If the wheels were black, I would swap the center and lugs to black. I knew what I was buying when I bought it though, not like it was a surprise later on. I like the style, but I do wish they were black though. Can buy aftermarket black ones of the same style, but that seems kinda silly.

MPG’s are just a cover….mine look real…..building my fronts next….
