MDS vibration noise - limited to trucks with nerf bars?

I know there has been lots of discussion about the noise/vibration many of us hear when mds activates atlow speeds. It dawned on me the other day the sound seems like it might be coming from vibrations in my nerf bars and not the truck. Curious if folks without them still have the noise.

I have the Mopar off road running boards on mine and I have no noise/vibration at all .

I have 4 inch barricade ovals. No vibrations in MDS.

I really didn't know this was a common thing. I never even used my MDS for the first 15 months I owned my Laramie, so I had no idea if it vibrated or not. Recently I've started letting it do it's thing and haven't noticed any vibrations. I can tell when it turns on and off, but that's mostly because of the aftermarket exhaust I have. Hopefully some of the people who actually have this problem can report whether or not they have steps/nerf bars.

BTW...I have Westin HDX side steps and no vibrations.

update - had some time to dig into this further on the forum and it seems it is common for 2019 model year with the base sound system and is related to the active noise cancellation system. There is an active TSB 08-056-19 REV. A that is supposed to address it so I guess it is not related to nerf bar vibrations.
