Hi All,

Chasing some codes so decided to clean the EGT diffuser and MAP sensor. It's a stock 2022 with 164,000km. The egr was pretty dirty but I can't find the MAP sensor. Can someone point me in the right direction? Where is the MAP?

Also, is the much oil in the charge tubes normal or am I dealing with a turbo?

Thanks in advance!IMG-20250316-WA0001.jpgIMG-20250316-WA0005.jpgIMG-20250316-WA0007.jpg

Are you using any fuel additives or additive for your oil?

I will clean my 2020 map sensor and EGR tube next week. The map sensor should be behind the throttle control. The map sensor has numbers and letters on it you will see it. Bosch made them.

Did you find it?

The Gen 2 I think its installed with a T40
The Gen 3 looks like you need a socket wrench for it?

Rear of the motor under the intake tube elbow that goes to turbo.
It looks like two small hoses go to the map sensor and I do not see t40 bit. I'm not sure where this thing is. Do you have picture or location you can point too. I must be looking at another sensor

No hoses. It's pretty much under that intake elbow that goes to the turbo intake.

I pulled mine last week.
This is all highway miles. 55,000 miles. Before and after.
Just a heads up, really easy to loose the bolt holding the map sensor. couple hours with 2 magnets and no go.
So Dont loose the bolt.
Another thing, if you try and rewove Map its going to have to come out on passenger side, easier to flip it upnside down then out, youll figure it out.
1 word of caution, really hard to hold bolt while trying to get it out, since your lying across the motor, thats when mine dropped.
You cant really drop the bolt down the Map very easily, but what if you do???. before pulling map remove bolt first, when putting back together put map sensor on before putting back bolt.
Having a cloth under the area to catch the bolt when you drop it might save you waiting a week for dealership to get you another bolt.(Not a funny story really).
Difficulty 6out of ten, if your a big guy with big fingers 10out of 10.
Just my experience and I am not a big guy.
