Has anyone heard if there are any significant delays in manufacturing from the plant or delivery with all the COVID issues?

All US FCA plants are closed right now and probably will continue to be for at least a couple more weeks, so yes there will be delays if you have ordered or are going to order a 1500.

FCA closed all plants on March 19th. They stated they will remain closed until at least April 14. The company said the reopenings will be “dependent upon the various state stay in place orders and the readiness of each facility to return to production.”

Closed the afternoon of March 18 actually (1st shift worked, 2nd shift was cancelled). Latest target date May 4 now.

From FCA:
"FCA continues to make the health and well-being of its employees a top priority. With that in mind, FCA intends to progressively restart its U.S. and Canadian manufacturing facilities beginning May 4. The status of production at FCA’s Mexico operations will be the subject of a separate announcement.

During this current production pause, we are working with government officials and our unions to implement new procedures to certify the daily wellness of our workforce while also redesigning work stations to maintain proper social distancing and expanding the already extensive cleaning protocols at all locations. As a result of these actions, we will only restart operations with safe, secure and sanitized workplaces to protect all of our employees."

Thanks for the update. Things keep changing on a daily basis. Today, the Governor of Washington closed all schools through the rest of the school year. We are on an essential business lock down until May 4th.

Not good news, I’m a production manager at a Tier 1 supplier here in SC and our plants have been down since March 25th. We were planning on starting up again April 20th but I suspect this is going to change with this news.

My build date was the week of shut down with estimated delivery date of 3/28! Had to order something since I could not find exactly what I wanted on a lot but maybe it’s time to go settle for another one!
I understand the situation!
