The color matching part is done. Next is the brushed black wrap on the center part of the grille, mirrors and window trim. All emblems are getting replaced with black ones too.

Are the chrome door handle inserts glued on and do you know if Chrysler sells them. Thanks in advance. Nice looking Truck by the way, love the wheels!

Looks familiar! I just had mine done this week. Here is a quick shot when I got it back. I decided to leave the center the way it was but I did order the black grille emblems from eBay. I figured for 22.00 vs vinyl I will just get the OEM ones. I just need someone to swap tow hooks with me :D:p

I like the Rebel wheels, may have to find someone to swap those too!

Slowly coming along. I'll probably leave the bumpers and grille chrome, change everything else.

Truck looks great! Do you happen to have a part number for the color matched grill? Did you have a body shop paint it?

I finished de-chroming my 2020 limited as well. Wrapped the grill, side mirrors, door handle chrome strip, and window chrome strips. Powder coated the wheels, exhaust tips and tow hooks. Painted the all the badging and door strips in gloss black.

Did you leave the slats in the grille dark grey and brushed?

@mmelsh If you don’t mind sharing what was the cost on the wrap? Itemized if you know, because I want to do the grill and window trim.

2019 Ram 1500 Limited
20x10 Fuel Crush With Dark Tint wrapped in 35 x 12.5 Toto Open Country AT3’s
MaxTrac 2.5 inch leveling spacers in the front, Revel air links front and rear, and OEM air suspension.
Grayed our chrome.

I like the look of chrome on my black Limited. Probably just goes better white black then white. Cool looking truck! I like the wrap. How much did that cost? I just put 33 inch Toyo AT3 and they look awesome. I wish I could’ve gone bigger but didn’t want a leveling kit while be 14 days into ownership. I HIGHLY recommend AT3’s by the way.

It was $600 for the grille, window trim, and side mirrors. The grille takes a while to do.

I just had my grille painted to match body color, and may now be done with my project to de-chrome my Limited. I completely disassembled the grill and painted the upper and lower appliqués, inside brushed metal trim piece, and chrome grid accent. I’ve also swapped the mirror caps, removed the original side molding and replaced with body color, swapped the tailgate handle, and went to black badging. I also swapped my OEM 20’s for Rebel wheels and tires. Still debating blacking out or replacing the chrome window trim and door handles, but I may just leave it alone. I think doing the grille and mirrors made a huge difference in toning down the overdone chrome on the Limited. View attachment 18870 View attachment 18871 View attachment 18872 View attachment 18873

Do you happen to remember the part number to replace the chrome tailgate handle with a pau color matched handle?

Thank you to anyone who does.

Here you go.
This is awesome! There is a lot of good stuff on this forum, but I think this is the best thing I’ve found so far! I understand that you didn’t take off the interior door panel - did you have to pop any of the trim clips for door panel? I’ve seen a few diagrams and I think you’d have to, right? Like, to halfway down and a few going towards the rear?

Gotta do mirrors, then done (believe I’ll leave door trim chrome to match pending wheels).

Sorry for hi-jack, will start my own thread for other mods!
