Ok folks, its almost time for new tires on my 2020 RAM 1500 4x4 North edition. I'd like to get a little higher ride height so I'm thinking a taller tire,

LT285/75R18 (34.8" diameter) to replace the OEM LT275/65R18 (32.2" diameter).

The truck is completely stock, no lifts, no level kits. My question is, will this size tire fit without rubbing?

Thoughts?

Hi guys,
I have been looking through a lot of threads but cannot seem to find what Im looking for. This one is the one that comes closest to what im looking for. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Hemi Big Horn 4x4 crew cab stock with the 3.21 gears. It came with the 18 inch wheels so im currently running 275/65/18 tires. It want to put in 17x9 -12mm wheels and run 285/75/17 tires or bigger if possible. If these won't work I would like to run 295/70/17. My go-to, in case neither of these work, would be 285/70/17 Any ideas? This is the first time Im doing this and have educated myself around the topic but Im not 100% sure.

There are threads dealing with the special OEM 18" rims and the fact that some aftermarket 18's do not fit the DT (new body style) brakes. 17's are a no go. If you are looking at the correct bolt circle, they won't be advertised as fitting the 6 bolt Ram. You can look for threads that say 33", 34" tire, or other metric sizes that you may be interested in. If you actually have a DS body, head down to the 4th gen sub forums. After you find out some of this info, I guarantee that someone here has done what you are looking for. Good luck.

Just to confirm, i got a stock heigh laramie 2021

LT275/70r18 should fit with no rubbing? Looking to change out my Falken AT3 soon with the continental terrain contact h\t.

Debating whether its worth it to go up in rims size to 20s or not either just cuz the 18s are so close to the caliper smh
@Jack. Did you end up getting the terrain contact in 18rim? That's the exact set up I'm debating, but coming from the aggressive and wide Wildpeaks, I am curious about the finished look.
