Looking for a little suspension lift.

Starting my search to lift my 2025 Ram 1500 Limited with air suspension and I immediately see this:
Bilstein does not offer direct-fit performance shock replacements designed to work
with the 2019-2025 Ram 1500 factory air suspension system, as most 5100/4600 series shocks are specifically for conventional coil springs. To use Bilstein shocks, you must typically use a conversion kit to remove the air suspension.
Air Suspension Compatibility Information:

• No Direct Fit: Standard Bilstein 5100 (e.g., 24-233354) and B6 4600 series shocks are explicitly listed as not compatible with Ram 1500 OEM Air Suspension Systems.
• Conversion Option: If you wish to switch to a traditional suspension, kits such as the Bilstein 5100 Conversion Kit from Air Delete USA are available to replace the air suspension with Bilstein shocks, springs, and a programming tool to remove dashboard error messages.
• Upgrade Potential: For 2025 Ram 1500s without air suspension, the Bilstein 5100 or 6112 series provides excellent leveling and performance upgrades.

Is this true? I thought I have seen post with what others had done without removing the air suspension.

Not possible. You have to remove the air bags to install shocks and coil overs. There is a link system for leveling on your air ride though.
