Hey Folks, I am currently looking at/likely buying a 2021 Spitfire Orange. Joined the forum to keep abreast of the community. Anything I should look out for?

You will be very happy with the limited edition Built to Serve. Less than 1000 trucks were built with the Spitfire color

Just did a quick detail on the truck... seriously, dealers, stop hiring idiots. When I see "full presale detail" I should not have to do an ACTUAL detail to attempt to fix what your idiot did and didn't do. Long story short. Shiny dash bad, streaky windows, all of them, to the point I had to stop on my way home and pick up some window cleaner and paper towels to be able to see out of the windshield due to solar glare VERY BAD, shiny interior bits, bad. You should actually wax the roof if you're claiming a full detail. Armor all is not an all in one product. Going to do a full paint correction later in the fall. There was so much armor all on the tires I ran my finger across them and it looked like I had just grabbed some vaseline, had to SCRUB them to remove the ridiculous amount of excess so it would stop slinging nastiness all over the truck. Here are a couple of pics I took when I bought it and got it home. I will post more later. I was thrilled to see she fit through the garage door. I want to put a levelling kit on but don't want to have to worry about fitting through the door. I have 10' ceilings inside the garage but only a standard door.

If given the option, always turn down the dealership "detail" or even on brand new vehicles, the PDI wash of you actually care about your paint.

Wasn't given the option sadly. Had them touch up some scratches and even those are sub par but at least there is no bare metal exposed. I am going to do a full paint correction, detail and ceramic coat this fall.

I was actually having a bear of a time getting the bed step to work, After looking underneath there was so much caked on mud behind the bumper and encrusted on the mechanism, which led to some nasty corrosion. No wonder it was a mess. After a MAJOR pressure wash session it broke free and I then exercised it and gave it a good dose of fluid film. Moves like buttah now.

Definitely a great color! Congrats

I think the hardest part right now is the restraint I have to have from buying all of the things I want for the truck at once..
You've already failed. You were supposed to start buying the parts before you even had the truck.
