Looked up Payload for VINs of available 2025 RHOs, Limited 6'4 and Rebels with window stickers. Figured out weights of key options.

So I went crazy today. @AnthonyRI messaged me the following VIN lookup (have to put in the VIN after = sign in the address bar and then in the code there's Payload) address:

I proceeded to go to the eStore and look up trucks I'm interested in, found their window sticker and VIN, plugged that in and got the payload. Not only that, I made an excel spreadsheet to help figure out the weights of key options. Based on that work, here's what I figured out for weights for key options:

Tech Group - 6lbs
Trailer Tow - 33lbs (Rebel only - RHO/Limited is 0)
Panoramic Sunroof - 56lbs
Bed Utility Group - 46lbs
TriFold Tonneau - 31lbs
Tubular Side Steps - 47lbs (Rebel Only)
Multifunction Tailgate - 70lbs
33 Gallon Fuel Tank - 68lbs
Air Suspension - 50lbs
Rambox - 120lbs
Off Road Style Running Boards - 72lbs (RHO only)
Power Fold Trailer Mirrors - 12lbs
Bead Lock Wheels - 54lbs (RHO only)

I attached screen shots of my spreadsheets... you can look at the options associated with the payloads. Basically, even with a lot of options the Rebel isn't horrible. Can still get 1400 payload with some decent options. RHO is also not bad for payload - so towing is less payload limited and more towing pull rating limited. The limited 6'4 is just... not great. Basically with just myself and a few other gear (I plan on trailering cars to track solo), on a limited assuming 10-15% tongue weight distribution, I'm looking at a max trailer combined weight of 6400 (Limited Night with only Trailer Tow, Bed Utility - Payload of 1221). That's just enough for a light open aluminum trailer and the car. That's it.

I'm interested in other models too.. but I hope this helps as I've been trying to track this info down. Not official but it certainly helps me in my decision on what truck to order.

Thanks again @AnthonyRI! Why I plan on ordering through Mark Dodge as well.

Some i am old school. My dad told me to never ow anything that was heavier than 2,000 pound more than the weight of your truck. So, if your truck is 6,000 pounds don’t tow anything greater than 8,000 pounds. I am shocked by the speed on highways that I see a 1/2 pickup doing 75-80 towing upwards of 11,000 lb trailer. You know if the truck brakes hard the trailer will win and whiplash the pickup. So I don’t care what I could tow, I just stay under 8k max and keep the tongue weight correct. Safety is first

THIS IS AWESOME!

Another thing that I realized is that if ordering a Limited, the Night package adds weight. I was surprised by this.

Once I have some time, I'll add other trims to this as well. It's nice to have real world data on the 2025 models and not hope to see a payload sticker on TFL Trucks or Truck King.
