Hey all, recently picked up this truck that I love but it has some odd stains on the rims, almost like a cleaner was sprayed on them previously when they were still hot. If I realllly scrub with a microfiber and APC it starts to wear off but would not rather spend a full day scrubbing wheels. Any idea what this may be? I don’t think a wheel cleaner is wise here since it’s a painted surface, but I may be wrong. Pics below;

Adams wheel cleaner.
Make sure the rims are cool…as noted. Spray one wheel at a time, liberally, use a brush to agitate, then rinse.

I would try light rubbing compound to polish it off.

I use polishing compound after trying a few different other "lighter" polishes and such. If none of those products are satisfactory I go to the rubbing compound. I start with the least abrasive and work my way up.
