I've got a 2021 Ram 1500 Eco-diesel with a 6'4" bed and the off-road package. Looking to lift and wondering what folks recommend for clearance given the longer wheelbase. I'm thinking just 3 inches since, while I do go to the desert and mountains fairly often, I mostly use the truck for daily driving. Plus, I don't want to deal with additional stress on the other elements of the suspension nor make a bunch more mods to accommodate the lift. Any suggestions or thoughts from folks who also have the same crew cab with long bed? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same but in a hemi instead of diesel. I am 3" up front and 1.5 in the back with 34" tires. I have about 3/4" rake. thinking of dropping to 2.5" in the front to add a little more rake and take a little pressure off the spring compression. I think 3" is the most I would go as far as CV joint angles for the long term.

Did you just level it then? Or did you put an actual lift kit in? Great to know about the 3" max, especially because I don't want to stress the CV's. Can the 2.5" still accommodate your 34's?

I leveled using Bilstein 5100 and ORG springs in the front and I installed Bilstein springs in the rear that yielded me 1.5". 2.5" should clear the 34" tires with no issue. Clearance also depends on the Wheel and backspacing. I am running 20s with +1 backspacing.

Funny, I saw this thread yesterday, and immediately thought of you @397STROKER.
