LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS

OK NEED HELP,,I DID A DUMB MOVE,, I INSTALLED A LED LIGHT STRIP ON THE REAR BUMPER AND TAPPED INTO THE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT FOR POWER,
IT WORKED FOR ABOUT A MILE, AND NOW I HAVE NO LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS,,WHICH ARE LED,, WHICH FUSE IS IT THAT I NEDD TO CHECK??

Go to google. Type in the year, engine, and Ram…. followed by “fuse diagram.” Or, check your manual if you have it.

So for educational purposes, I’ll explain.

I just used the magnifying glass on the upper right of this forum. I searched “fuse diagram.” the 4th thread from the top has this in it. Enjoy.

I wouldn't use your license plate wires for an Led bar. Likely too small wiring and fuse for that amount of draw. Tap into your trailer wiring instead.
