The Amazon special. Turned out really well. Wired it into the 7 pin.

Nice, do you have link to the lights

They are just the cheep 18 dollar Nilight pods on Amazon. I’ve used them on a few trucks now, they hold up well to the snow and salt in the north and are cheap to replace after a few years of abuse.

I have similar lights here at the house. Bought them for a 4 wheeler but sold it before they got installed. I'll probably do something similar to this as well. Thanks!

Got the same lights, one light must have a bad seal because water got inside and lense is cloudy after less than a year. Not too upset as the OP mentioned they were around $18. I guess you get what you pay for... Lol.

I've been looking at these for the new truck, I don't like how dim the camera seems compared to my 09.

Or how you turn them on and off

The 7 pin harness has a reverse wire. Just as easily tied into the regular reverse wires as well.

This is exactly it. Pull out the 7pin. The black wire is the reverse lights and the white wire is the ground. They come on automatically when you put it in reverse.

Any photos of them
On at night?

A lot of guys have been doing flush mounts for years...but I couldn't bring myself to cut holes in a brand new bumper, so I'll probably go the same route Jared did (or something close to it)

Another good idea.

Yep that’s them. I just got some 2 3/4 inch exhaust clamps and used a couple angle iron brackets I had in the garage. Was sure to paint them pretty well prior to putting them on to keep the rust at bay.

I don’t have any pics of them on at night. When I think about it I’ll take a couple.

This is how I used to wire up my reverse lights on all of my old trucks. You'd be surprised how often you use them off of the battery. Kind of a pain to wire up that way but the end result speaks for itself

Thanks. Seems easy enough and I've done it on other trucks. Appreciate the tip on the lights doing OK in the salt. Speaking of, it's almost time for me to give this thing its inaugural woolwax bath. I think NH DOT and the car dealers are in on a scheme to rust out things as quickly as possible.

I’m in Vermont. It’s not much different lol. I’ve already got the fluid film appointment!
