Hello all quick question. My buddy has the LED headlights and noticed water( moisture) in one headlight and said the headlight is actually not working now? Has anyone heard of this before??
Yup. My truck came with halogens and I added the LEDs after the fact.
I bought brand new OEM headlights and installed them. First time it rained, I noticed a little bit of moisture in the passenger side headlight but it was dry by the next morning.
There’s at least one thread on this forum about this topic and a lot of folks have been told by their dealer that a little condensation inside the headlight enclosure is normal under certain conditions, and as long as it dries out by the next day, it’s fine.
The next time it rained it went out and was soaked inside. They sent me a warranty replacement right away and the new one is fine.
