I hope I posted this in the right place....

I have read some reviews and comments here about modifications where led brake light bars were added, such as Opt7 and Putco Blade bars. I’m considering doing the same and just wondering if now that time has gone by after some have added these bars, are you happy with them and have you had any issues? If you don’t mind letting me know which one you went with too and any tips I’d appreciate it. Thanks to all.

I have the Opt7(48 inch with Amber turn signals), have had it for about 5 years now, had it on my 2014 Outdoorsman for about 4 years and put in on my 2019 Rebel. I used the curt adapter(4 prong) and hard wired in the reverse lights. You can see it on my thread.

On my Outdoorsman the piece under the tailgate was metal so instead of putting it on there with 2 sided tape or the cheap clips I used magnets this way I could take it off easier, for the Rebel I used these.

Put a drywall screw threw the hole right into the plastic under the bumper(about 6 inch from the end) then used some small red cable ties to attach it, the red blends into the bar(you really have to look at it to see them). Guys that have installed the bigger bar(60 inch) say they have to use spacers to get it straight but I didn't with the smaller bar.

Thanks very much, this was helpful! Haven’t gotten to it yet but planning to.
