My 2019 Crew Cab Laramie with 6' bed, approx. 23k miles, black appearance, pretty much loaded minus Advanced Safety, lease is up 02/27/22. My buyout is $33,800 and I plan to buy it based on the market. I just got a call from Chrysler Capital explaining my options. They said I can finance directly through Chrysler Capital or I can go to the dealer for any possible incentives, but was told there would also likely be fees. I was not told this, but I'm guessing I can get my own financing as well.

Does anyone have any experience or recommendations? Who has the best rates? Are there any current incentives? I'm guessing this falls under a used car loan, or is there any sort of caveat because I've had it since new?

So one thing the dealership did where I bought my truck, was charge an additional $2k if I went with my own financing, rather than use their in-house finance.

I think that’s pretty shady, and not sure if all dealerships do something similar, but when it came time to sign, the dealership actually had better rates than USAA or Navy Federal for used vehicles, so it wasn’t even an issue. As mine is a 2019, it just missed the cutoff for lower rates from those two (2022 through 2020) anyway.
