I see on here, and other reciprocating sites, the issue with the cab leak. Why is this not a recall? I have a 2016 and when I took it to the dealership they would not address it because it wasn't under warranty...the service department nor the collision center. I replaced the third taillight but that did not work so I believe that leaves replacing the windows. Due to shortages and non-service commitment by Swope Dodge, I am getting rid of the Ram and not looking back...unfortunate that Ram does not address this as it is an issue that many are dealing with or addressed it in the past. When one spends the kind of money on a vehicle like the Ram one would expect these things to be taken care of by the ones that created it.

And they would've taken care of it, if it was under warranty. Good luck with any manufacturer covering something outside of warranty.

That and go to every other vehicle make/model forum on the internet and find me a vehicle where someone hasn't been "wronged" like this before by a manufacturer and let me know what your next vehicle choice is going to be. It's all luck of the draw, the good thing about these auto forums is you can be proactive and do your research before buying to try to make the best gamble possible on a vehicle that works for you.

Doing things like this would have you already knowing that the leaking third brake light has been an issue with just about (if not) every truck maker for decades, in some capacity. And if they haven't managed to to fix that, well you know where your expectations should be for other leaks. And like mentioned, for something that far out of warranty, best of luck getting that covered, you can search around the forums/other vehicles forums to see other peoples results trying to do so.

Did you use any kind of sealant when you replaced it?
Are you sure that is where the leak is?
As others have said, warranty is out and you’re on your own. Same with any other manufacture.
