2025 Ram 1500 Rebel GT Transfer Case actuating randomly throughout the day. I have an 8 minute video of this vehicle with the transfer case actuating on its own with vehicle in park and locked. It sounds like the vehicle attempting to start on its own. Took it to the service department and the end result was, they returned it stating the Lasfit LED bulbs are emitting an RF signal that most likely is causing this issue as well as my screen flickering. It was suggested to remove the LED bulbs and return to stock and continue to monitor. It would be nice to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue or what really the likelihood is that the LED bulbs are root cause. I have returned everything to stock and monitoring. Screen still flickering.

Are you referring to the Lasfit switchbacks? If so, I have those installed and no issues other than left front hyperflash if it's on for too long.

My Lasfit tail and backup lights are working fine without interference or any other weirdness.

Lasfit cargo and 3rd brake LEDs messed up my key fob. Replaced with factory and no problems. I also have Lasfit tails/reverse, those are fine though

Same thing here with mine I may take them out

On my 2025 I've got the front switchback turn signals, 3rd brake light, both tail lights and the reverse bulbs from Lasfit - I haven't experienced any type of interference or weird behavior thus far.

Sounds like a lazy service tech who didn't want to properly troubleshoot, so just blamed the bulbs. I don't see any way the LED bulbs would cause any issues with transfer case. It's not operated by rd signals

Absolute BS. How could some random RF signals interfere with a system that is hardwired?

All good responses. Update: The Transfer Case is still actuating with stock bulbs installed so it is definitely not the Lasfit LED Bulbs. Taking truck back to RAM this week to continue troubleshooting this major issue.

If there is another dealer within a reasonable drive, I'd probably try going to them, and not the same one with lazy techs

Agreed. I'm persistent and proving a point with them. Keeping them on the hook for this and forcing them to address it BUT if the BS continues, yes at some point I'll pull the plug and take it to a different service department.

The funny thing is that it also bumps or nudges forward on its own, but not all the time during this issue. I was in the vehicle for 1 hr and 10 minutes and it moved on its own. This can't be safe.

Pretty sure the only wires that are shielded are the radio, satellite and video cables, rest are twisted pair if carrying data AFAIK?
Probably correct on the twisted pair scheme for these wires. CAN bus cable consists of a pair of wires known as CAN high and CAN low (indicating high and low speed, respectively). Both wires are twisted tightly together to ensure that electromagnetic interference affects the signal in both wires uniformly, limiting errors. Bottom line, just a different design to limit RF interference.

If there are no fault codes in the system and the problem is not present when tech looks at it, it makes it very hard to troubleshoot. My guess would be that wires related to transfer case are damaged somewhere. Or loose connector.

Pretty sure they are CAN high and CAN low indicating that how they are referenced to the voltage zero line. This is different from CAN bus data speeds that are high or low.
