Good day everyone,
I drive a Laramie Longhorn 2019; the truck has 120,000 km on it.
I noticed that when the car is on 4wd auto, at the speed of 30-40 km/h I can hear a grinding noise such as rubbing dry gears or metals! The noise gets worse at turning a long radius corner when I can maintain the speed up enough around 30 km/h. The sound is even getting louder when is on 4W high even at lower speeds at turns. The noise stops when I turn back to the straight line.
The noise is totally independent from engine RPM; only sensitive to speed and turn.
The noise totally goes away when on 2WD.
Any similar experience?! Could it be the transfer case or front diff?
