Laramie 20" Sport Wheels - Paint/Polished - Actually clear coated?

Can anyone confirm if the polished part of these wheels is "naked" or if they're clear coated?

They are clear coated. I've been doing wheel restoration for a while and have refinished my wheels which are the exact same as yours. They paint the inserts,machine the aluminum, and then it all gets a good coat of clear. Which makes blacking em out and clearing it all a cinch.

How about the OEM 22" rims on the 2019 1500 Limited? Same thing? Inserts are painted charcoal, aluminum is machined and the whole wheel clear coated too? I have road rash on a couple of rims and want to get them refinished.

I'd run it as it and not worry about it. With those 22"s and low profile tires, more curb rash will eventually happen
