Just got a 21 Limited 1500 crew cab, short bed with ram boxes and multifunction tail gate. It has 3 115v outlets (front, rear and ram box) which can't handle hardly anything at 400w. There is only one 12v outlet and its on the top of the dash!. I would really like a 12v outlet in the rear seat area or near the rear of the bed to run a cooler. Maybe could tap into the trailer 12v for adding one. Any thoughts on this?

Looking into installing a roll up or fold up bed cover. Trying to find the best choice with the ram boxes

Wish I could be more specific for your requirements, but perhaps there is something in the posts that will get you in the right direction.

I ran a 6 awg off the battery.. circuit breaker @ battery and fused in the rear bed for cig plug & usb. Essentially with the right wiring you could add anything. Bought the piece on Amazon and mounted it right where the factory Mopar lights would go. I’ve been wiring vehicles for many years and some advice: don’t go cheap or smaller on the wire. Bigger gives you room to grow, we always want more with our trucks.
Cover & protect that wiring. I used wire loom as well as a braided NYLON sleeve since it runs the length of the truck. Last thing I want to do is have to trace or replace a wiring issue since a rock hit it or some crazy story.
If you need any help PM me I’d be glad to assist
