Knocking sounds

I have a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7. It has been making knocking sounds from the front end more towards the driver side, it comes and goes while idling and sometimes while driving. It drives smooth and sounds good most of the time. There hasn't been any error codes. It's not a ticking sound just a knocking sound that comes and goes.

It drives smooth and sounds good most of the time. There hasn't been any error codes. It's not a ticking sound just a knocking sound that comes and goes.

I had no tick but it started making a knocking noise. Engine was smooth no cel and no idling issues. Recently took to dealer and needs an engine they said two lifters were failing and bottom end was trashed. This happened out of the blue. I hope it’s not as bad for you though.
