Keyed power source behind steering wheel

Can anyone share pics of what fuse slot I can use for powering my Radar Detector from the fuse panel behind the steering wheel? I just purchased the truck tonight and looking forward to installing the radar detector near the left side of the cab and running the wire along the frame of the door. I had a 2012 Ram and was able to direct wire into the back of mirror. I wish I could do that again but there is no door on the back of the mirror.

There is no keyed power source on that fuse box. I tested it 4 times. Tap into your cig/power source wire by the radio.

I think there is, Look at the picture from when I installed my dashcam. Bottom one is +12v switched and the other is +12v constant.

Weird as weird can be....i just checked mine and it's open. No metal clips inside, nada. Stupid engineers.

@sticker500 can you confirm which fuse you used that is constant 12v? Based on your picture the top one is in F33 which goes off shortly after ignition off with the dome lights.

I don't know what number it is, you can see the placement. Obviously wherever it it goes it isn't turning off shortly after ignition because my parking mode works for for over a day then the Power Magic Pro turns it off based on voltage to protect the battery.

Perfect reply! Didn't think my battery cutout would be hitting since I drove the truck this morning, but it was. Lowered the setting and it stayed on! Good call on F33 being a constant 12v - manual says it powers the overhead console, SW 911, SW assist and sunshade.

Question: is this fuse box on 2019? Mine doesn’t have one under steering column just under the hood.

I am installing a BlackVue dashcam with a Power Magic Pro. Your pic here showing the 12v constant fuse saved me a lot of time.
