Key fob programming

I bought a aftermarket fob from Amazon. Is there a way to program it myself without going to the local locksmith?

Fast answer, No. My key guy would get about 200 for an after market key fob, that is his specialty. It has been discussed on the forum before. Regular locksmith can't do it unless he has the equipment and the ones near me do not want to spend the investment because it does not get the return.

No, unless you buy the right equipment, which would cost just as much as having a local locksmith or dealer program it for you.
