Hi! New fellow SST HO owner here! Just picked up my new Longhorn Limited; love the look, feel, power, smoothness and quietness of the truck. But last few start-ups, the FOB would not start the truck. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Only 1,000 (s)miles on the odo. Software issue? weak battery in FOB? Disconnect battery leads and let the ECM "reset"? Other suggestions? Anyone else experiencing this? I'm aware that there are other owners with the SAME symptoms; just wondering what the fix might be. Other than that, the truck performs better than my SRT10 RAM...in every sense of performance. Smoothest truck I have ever been in. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what the final outcome will be on this issue, I know some people have said possibly the FOB being close to a cell phone gave them problems? Could be software issue? But one thing to know is it is NOT '25 model related.

I had a new '24 that started doing this same thing with about 4,000 miles on the truck. Worked perfectly fine every time up until a certain day, and then just randomly wouldn't unlock or start the truck.

All good now.......about 3 weeks later.....maybe it took some time for my FOB to "learn" new location of the truck. Someone even suggested low battery voltage could have had something to do with this. ZERO issues......2500 (s)miles and loving this HO!!!

I am starting to have the same problem with the driver side door will not lock every time when thumb is properly placed on door handle and warning message that "No key detected" on recently purchased new 3 weeks ago. Key fob battery replaced thinking it may be that problem. Dealership called and waiting on answer.

I had this issue throughout the 3+ years I had my 2022 Rebel. Many, many times I had to use the actual key in the fob to unlock the door then the alarm would go off because the truck thinks it was broken into. After that sometimes the fob would work and the truck would start but sometimes I’d just get fob not detected and have to push the start button with the fob to get on my way. New 25 Rebel has had fob unlock and remote start issues as well, I have not had to take the key out to get in yet but have had the fob not detected message and had to **** around with the start button several times.

Not sure the problem but I’d guess it is Ram’s choice of hardware. This issue has been widely reported on these trucks.

Has anyone tried purchasing a new FOB that will work in replacing the MOPAR brand FOB to see if it will remedy the problem? Don't know if it is possible, but may be a try if available to see if it is a FOB manufacturer problem.
