It's now been about 7 months since my original post about my driver's side Rambox popping open and 6 months since my last update.

I never did take it to the dealer for the updated wiring harness to be installed (I will ask for it when I get my next oil change).
As of today, December 25th, my Rambox has not popped open 1 time since I unplugged it and plugged it back in.
Just wanted to give you guys & gals an update.
