I've got a 2019 Rebel with Air Ride. I've been using the TazerDT for a while now, but have finally noticed some odd behaviors that it causes with my truck. When I push on the brake pedal, I get four faint beeps coming from the rear right roof speaker. Also, if I use my keyfob to lower the truck to entry/exit mode, then open/close the tailgate, the truck will get stuck in entry/exit mode and will not automatically lift to normal mode when above 15 MPH.
I took the truck to the dealer last week to have them check these two issues. I left the TazerDT installed because they've never said anything about it when I've had it there for other service issues. They went through a fairly lengthy diagnostic process and finally pinpointed the behavior to my TazerDT. When the unhooked it and reconnected the wires to factory configuration, the beeps and the entry/exit sticking stopped.
Can someone with a TazerDT and air ride confirm the four faint beeps when you press the brakes. Also, to get stuck in entry/exist mode, turn off the truck, use the keyfob to drop in to entry/exit mode, open and close your tailgate. When you start driving, you should stay in entry exit at normal speed until you manually raise it back up.
