Hi- new to forum. Just bought a 2025 Laramie night edition and I seem to be having problems with the software. The park assist / collision warning does not seem to work most of the time. I don’t get a warning most of the time when I am close to a vehicle. Also, the auto wipers are inconsistent. When in low they wipe so fast when there is little to no rain sometimes and other times work fine. I did have the engine light come on. I took it to the dealer who checked and found nothing and said it was probably a glitch that probably corrected itself. However I still have these same issues. Anyone have any advice on what I should do?

I have to look at my truck again, but isn't there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the park assist and collision warning? And maybe the rain sensitive wipers?

I’ve had two 2025s. The first one, a Big Horn, was bought back via Lemon Law. It had a ton of electrical bugs, and the collision warning never activated in traffic, even when set to “near” on the Uconnect screen. I assumed it was part of the electrical gremlins.

But, the new (and current) 2025 is a Laramie, and it’s the same way; I don’t think I’ve ever seen the collision warning activate. No other electrical issues (knock on wood). I kind of figured Ram set these up to not have a bunch of false alerts like other cars, but who knows. It is set to “near” also.

As for the wipers, the BH didn’t have the auto sensing. On the Laramie, they can be a bit goofy. Mostly they get going way too fast for the amount of rain after a while.

Try it on the far setting and see if it'll go off. Far looks further down the road for potential collisions. That's what mine is set on and it does activate.
