Not a mechanic, sorry in advance:
We have a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Sport, stock other than wheels and leveling kit. It’s had odd issues and even had to go to 3 dealerships and work with Stellantis to get an issue resolved, they basically rebuilt half the engine to replace a single bent pin of some sort. That issue is resolved, but now it’s doing something new.
In the mornings it will not crank, just clicks. Then you wait and it clicks again and the Uconnect systems comes back on and then it starts. Video uploaded here:
Start Issue Video
However it has now gotten to the point it will click and not start no matter what. The battery is less than a year old, it tests at 12.39v turned off. All fuses I’ve checked look good, I’m thinking relay, so I replaced both starter relays (I don’t know how to test relays) and it still clicked this morning but did start up every time after.
Thoughts? It feels like relay or other electric issue.
