Issue with Leer 650M tonneau cover

I installed this several months ago and thought that gravity would take care of the “bumps”. Anyone have any idea what caused this or how I can fix?

It looks like there's something in there.

I had a similar problem on an mx4 and I peeled it back and I removed a small piece of metal and some small white foam balls. I used a small piece of double sided tape to resecure it down.
I went it with it closed from the inside of the bed out.
