Coming from a 2001 F250 to my current truck I've quickly learned that I need to make some adjustments due to the smaller bed. I LOVE the interior and modern creature comforts - but I use my bed quite frequently.
I've decided that a bed extender is in my future, and based on what little I know I believe the OEM cargo divider plus the required hardware would be my best bet.
Keep me honest here:
I use the full bed quite often, but don't always need a bed extender. During these times a "regular" bed extender would get in the way, but I could just lay the cargo divider flat in the truck.
I despise the thought of drilling into my truck, and I believe the hardware kit goes into some existing holes.
BUT - I somehow forgot those things are SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!!???
So, two questions.
Is my logic on why the OEM cargo divider is best for my application flawed?
Is there another solution that checks my boxes that won't require me to refinance my house?
