Is my shock damaged?

I bought rough country n3 shocks for the rear of my 2023 ram 1500i did one side and went to help my buddy finish the other side and he was turning the shaft as he tightened the top nut. I think he made a handful of rotations. How do I tell if this damaged the shock? If its damaged, is it reversible or is it scrap?

Thanks. I read that it could potentially damage the internal damping adjustment mechanism but I wasn't sure how true it was.

Unless the shocks are somehow adjustable, it's fine. I have some Snap-on sockets that fit on the top of shocks and I don't know how many I've installed by holding the wrench while spinning the shaft with an air ratchet.
