IOS 18 update and pandora not connecting properly with CarPlay.

Anyone else having issues with pandora not loading in CarPlay after iOS 18 update? I already tried all the options. Uninstall the app, soft reset the phone, etc. my wife’s phone hasn’t update yet and there’s no connection issues with my truck.

I have had the same issues. In order to play a song, I have to turn it on from my phone, but skips only work part of the time and WHEN it loads my list of stations, I can only get it to work part of the time and the most it will do is play the song. In order to see what is actually playing, I have to click on the Now Playing icon. And it frequently just stops playing.

I haven't noticed that issue yet but I took a bunch of pics of storm damage to find that my camera is now set to a square image by default after the update. I had to go in and select 16:9 to get my landscape photos back.

The Car Play issues is the biggest "issue" that I have found, the rest seems more like new stuff that I may just have to get used to. lol

Hi all, I have iOS 18.x. And yes u connect stopped connecting to CarPlay. This happened maybe one other time for me.

What you need to do is hold down the power button, until the unit resets. Worst case scenario is you also delete the car play uconnect entry. But don’t do that right away.

It’s not just with Uconnect. I also own a Honda, and the issue is exactly the same. I sent an email to Apple explaining the situation, but who knows when that email might be read.
