I've had this occur with my 2025 Rebel when making a slow speed maneuver going through a intersection.
What happens the accelerator pedal doesn't have any response a message flashes quickly "Performance may be limited. Press one pedal at a time" and a chime rings.
Seems that the nanny doesn't like 2 pedal driving otherwise it gets mad at you. I guess my left foot was bored not having a clutch. lol
