Is there an option for handles for the ceiling in front row? I have the holes in the liner with plastic caps. Cant find anything online about it. Anybody have any insight

I’m interested as well. However, I don’t see the plastic caps unless you’re looking at the mics. Can you add pics?

I am pretty sure those are the microphones for the bluetooth phone connection. I know these trucks also use the stereo for sound dampening inside the truck, so they may be part of that too.

The grab handles are on the A and B pillars, not the headliner. Like others mentioned, you are probably seeing the microphones.

For me, the grab handle on the A pillar is too far forward while seated. If the structure of the headliner would allow for it, I’d like to see if another grab handle could be added above the driver door area.

Thanks. Yeah story but those are microphones for the phone and UConnect voice response system. I was hoping against hope you saw something I didn’t have.

Now, I’m wondering if in the inch-inch and a half between those and the edge of the headliner is there something beefy enough to allow handles to be mounted. Much like used to be above the doors the rear seats of older models.

They make it look like there should be ceiling handles there. Haha

My wife hates that there is no handle on the ceiling. I wish we had a forum here, "complain to FCA" that they were forced to read. The handle misplacement topic would score some big points there I think.

Opinions are like a$$holes. Everyone has one.
For me the placement is perfect, so there... ;)

Thats who noticed in my truck, felt like an idiot. Was bragging about all the features and she just says “where are the ceiling handles”

I don't even use the handles that are in place on the A pillar. Maybe when I get 70 or something, I might use them then.

Side curtain airbags are the reason for moving the handles. Nothing in there you want to mess with.
