Received this console cover from Muslogy Mod to help protect my lid. Sad to say it didn’t work out in my favor. It’s nice and padded and looks nice but the elastic strap is in the worst spot possible and it gets stuck on the inside of the console. I’m able to shut it but it has to be forced and it’ll spring back open if I barely touch the handle

sorry but not sorry to say this... it does look like someone attempted to wrap the lid and did a **** poor job at it.
just leave the lid alone... it came nice from the factory for a reason.

That does take away from the factory style of the lid. There are detailing products that will make that lid cover last for quite some time.

If you really feel the need to protect it, there are some really well-designed ones on the market. There was one place that you'd have to send the lid to them for retrofit. That doesn't seem appealing.
