Though not a real scientific test the video shows an interesting MPG comparison between 6.2L GM, 5.0L Ford and Ram with SO Hurricane over a short 112 mile highway trip.
Difference might have been more related to gearing and transmission differences.
5.0 Ford got 19.1 mpg --- 3:42 gears with 10 speed transmission
6.2 GM got 18.3 mpg --- 3:73 gears with 10 speed transmission
Hurricane Ram got 17.2 mpg --- 3:92 gears with 8 speed transmission
