We have a ‘22 RAM Laramie 4x4 Crew Cab and a ‘22 VW AWD Pro S ID.4 EV.
Yesterday, we were charging the ID.4 at a local Target store. We were parked next to another ID.4 and began talking with the owner. He works at VW Innovation in Belmont, CA. They are kinda like VWs “Skunk Works”. They do research and design toward new innovative features for VW.
When I mentioned that we had the RAM he told me that one of the things they do to gauge what customers like, dislike and want in new cars is to invite owners of high end cars like Audi, BMW, Bentley, Porsche, and other high end vehicles in for round table discussions. It turns out that they also invite RAM owners as RAM customers consistently express satisfaction and appreciation of their truck’s features and performance at rates that match and exceed satisfaction levels of all the car owners.
Thought that was interesting. Both our RAM and our ID.4 have been great vehicles for us.
