So I bought an Amp, LC2i by audio control , two ten Memphis sub in a box for under the back seat, and wiring sub kit. I have watched a 100 YouTube videos and it's seems complicated when you got everyone by professionals showing how to do it and everyone of them seems to add something new or different on how to do it. Plus the all got these technical machine tuning it and some say you need some program to download into your stereo so it can I guess adjust to the new speakers. FML. I just want to add more bass. It was easy back in the day I would install whole new system in my cars no problem, but now it looks scary. Here's my question can I use the wiring to sub behind the back eliminating it and use the Amp that it was using and add another the other Amp that I bought to help power the new aftermarket sub speakers?

your gonna need a lc2i pro to give a load to that factory alpine amp. or this knock off thing i listed. the alpine sub is a triple voice coil and the factory amp is a 12 channel with 3 channels going to that sub. 2 dash 1 center 4 doors and 2 headliner plus the sub = 12 channel's. your better off replacing the factory amp with a 5 channel. because it may have ANC in the factory amp and you may have to disconnect the microphone. so you are correct it's not as easy as it was. i had to add resistor packs to my bypass harness because if the radio don't see a load it shuts output down to protect itself it thinks it has a blown speaker. i did a total system upgrade but next time i'll just save the money and leave it alone. stock is pretty good if you leave it alone.
