Instrument cluster swap

So I have a 2022 ram 2500 bighorn with the 3.5” cluster, I bought a cluster out of a 1500 limited eco diesel with 7” hoping that it would work but when you plug it in all the lights come on and throws abunch of codes , so I’m thinking it’s because the 1500 have a 8 speed and the 2500 diesel has 6 speed but not sure.I’m wondering if this new cluster can be reprogrammed for a 2500

Yea I’m thinking I’m gonna have to get one for a 2500, ok I’ll check it out thanks
